Last Thursday, the Kindergarten class had a wonderful time watching the performance, African Stages, at the Dance Centre downtown. There was drumming and singing, dancing and acting! The performers told a story about a girl in an African village that went to live in the city.
The class learned that there are many ways that people express themselves through the arts! And now they are exploring how to express themselves through movement, dance, music, art and drama! Stay tuned for our “expressions”!
